The Hungarians whom the Fulbright sent to American universities returned earlier than we left, so today they gave talks about their time in America, in English for the benefit of us mostly Hungarian-mute Americans. Well-produced talks, but neither other peoples’ vacation photos nor talks about results of specialized projects in fields many steps removed from mine interested me. (I’d’ve said that vacation photos just weren’t interesting, but at least one person has thanked me for posting photos from the Fulbright sightseeing trips. People people are weird.)
