I finished downloading the backups from my old computer and started to remove it from the Princeton domain, following Princeton’s warnings that it might become unonloggable (unloggable on? un-log-on-able?) in two days otherwise.

I got nostalgic partway through, and at about the same time realized that something went wrong in the sequence of 80 or so steps to be completed in sequence, so I’m leaving it. The risk that it’ll stop accepting my login isn’t worth the time it’d take to switch, since I’ll probably never use it again.
