Good vegetarian restaurant food here is so cheap (~$4/meal) that I usually just eat out, but I’m trying to learn to cook. (I can blindly and slowly follow recipes or make really simple things, but that’s about it.) Accordingly, I (and nine other BSM students) went to a cooking class today, where eight of them did something with meat and another vegetarian Mathcamper here and I made vegetarian goulash, mushroom stew with dumplings, and a Hungarian dessert vaguely resembling donut holes:

The first two did indeed turn out yummy; the dessert not so much.
