I mentioned earlier that it seems to take half an hour to get from anywhere to anywhere on the metro, no matter how far you’re going or whether you know where you’re going ahead of time. I now have proof of the latter: I walked to Alfre’d Re’nyi in 15 minutes to meet with Ervin Gyo”ri, realized that I was actually meeting with him at BSM, and got a perfect bus connection to get there in 15 more minutes. If I’d then realized I’d actually wanted to be somewhere else, would the trip have taken no time? I’d like to test it, but I’ll have to wait until I accidentally take a half-hour trip to the wrong place sometime to do so.
