I went to pick up my residence permit today, missing the Fulbright morning lectures—no great loss.

The wait times at the residence permit office seem strange. I arrived right after it opened, when almost no one was there, and was only there to pick up an approved permit, but somewhy I still had to wait three hours, longer than when I submitted the application in the first place. Still, as bureaucracies go, not bad at all.

After that, a lot of Hungarian professors talked about fuzzy stuff, in talks ranging from barely interesting ones that should’ve been condensed a lot to fairly interesting ones that still should’ve been condensed a lot.
